IMECOL S.A. was established in 1986 as an initiative of Colombian investors and InterAmerican Inc. from Miami, Florida, which built equipment for Vanguard Co. at that time.

• In 1999 we built 500 bodies for Coca Cola Co., at that time they wanted to improve their distribution channel.
• In 2001 we started the logistic service for the sugar cane industry loading and transporting sugar cane.
• In 2003 at Providencia sugar mill we started the mechanical harvest service with 1,000 tons per day.
• In 2005 the mechanical harvest service started at INCAUCA sugar mill.
• In 2006 we increased our operation starting the mechanical harvest at Pichichi sugar mill.
  
• In the year 2006-2007 the services of maintenance, training, administration and operation of fronts of mechanical harvest service is provided.
